USE OF INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to operate and improve our app and customer support. We do not share personal information with external parties, except when necessary to realize the functionality of Shortsey. We may release your information in response to subpoenas, court orders or other legal requirements, to exercise our legal rights or to defend ourselves against legal claims, to investigate, prevent or undertake illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies or to protect our rights and property.
In the future, we may sell, buy, merge with or collaborate with other companies. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets.
PROCESSING OF DATA
When you first open the Shortsey app, you will be asked to enter your name and then select a clothing style. We will only store this data locally (only on your (mobile) device) and not on our servers.
PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
With your permission, Shortsey can send push messages. A push message is a short message that is displayed on the screen of your (mobile) device. Even if you do not have the app open, you will see a push message.
We may send push notifications to inform you, for example, that new clothing has been added. If you no longer want to receive push messages, you can turn them off by changing the settings on your (mobile) device.
LOCATION PROVISION
When you first open the Shortsey app, you will receive a pop-up in which you can choose whether you want to use the location facility. Location facility is used to display the weather at your location. As soon as your location provision turns off, this feature will no longer be available and Shortsey will automatically show the weather in De Bilt, Utrecht.
ADVERTISEMENTS AND ANALYTICS
Shortsey collects collected, anonymous statistics, such as the percentage of users who use certain functions or items, to improve the app. If you use the shopping function, data such as the number of views or ticks can be collected to send to the advertisers.
SAFETY
We implement various security measures to protect your information. For example, all communication with the app and websites requires HTTPS.
INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER OF INFORMATION
Information can be processed, stored and used outside the country where you are located. Data privacy laws vary by jurisdiction, and different laws may apply to your data, depending on where it is processed, stored or used.
