Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply to your use of the Shortsey app and website. By creating an account and using the service, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. Shortsey is based in Deventer, the Netherlands and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 91127270.

You may use Shortsey if you:

• Are at least 16 years old
• Create an account with accurate and complete information
• Agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy

You are responsible for the security of your account and for everything that happens through it. Keep your login credentials safe and do not share them with others. You can delete your account at any time through the app settings — your data will be permanently removed.

• Share or transfer your account to another person
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, scripts) to access the app
• Provide false or misleading information when registering or in your profile
• Use an inappropriate profile picture or name (including sexually explicit, violent, or offensive material)
• Use the service for commercial purposes without prior written consent from Shortsey
• Reverse engineer, hack, or otherwise attempt to access the source code or infrastructure of the app
• Harass or harm other users

Shortsey displays products from external webshops. You can report products you find inappropriate through the app — both in the swipe feed and in the community. You can also report another user's profile, for example due to an inappropriate profile picture or name.

Shortsey reviews reported content and reserves the right to block or remove accounts in violation of these terms.

Shortsey displays products from external webshops through the Awin affiliate network. When you make a purchase through the app, Shortsey earns a commission. This does not affect the price you pay.

Shortsey is not responsible for:

• The quality, accuracy, or completeness of product information from external partners
• Prices or price changes at external webshops
• The availability or stock of products
• Delivery, returns, or complaints with the webshop
• Any issues that arise after leaving the Shortsey app

Shortsey aims for reliable app performance, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Shortsey reserves the right to:

• Take the app offline (temporarily) for maintenance or updates
• Modify, add, or remove features
• Discontinue the service entirely

Shortsey is not liable for damages resulting from interruption or discontinuation of the service.

The Shortsey app, logo, name, and all content created by Shortsey are the property of Shortsey and protected by intellectual property rights. You may not use these without explicit permission. Product images and information are the property of the respective webshops and brands.

To the extent permitted by law, Shortsey is not liable for indirect damages, consequential damages, or loss of profit arising from the use of or inability to use the service.

If we make material changes to these terms, we will notify you by email before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The date of the last update is always shown at the top of this page.

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the district of Overijssel, the Netherlands.
